Because we began to buy manga long before it started being translated here in the US.

Why are your prices so low?
Our goal is to share manga with others, not to get rich off of a fad. We price based on fair, used book standards except for rare occassions when we are listing a particularly rare item.

What is Yaoi & Shounen-ai?
Oh my, that's a loaded, but important question. Shounen-ai translates literally to mean "boy love" and it refers to young men who are in love with one another. Or, to be more blunt - gay relationships. Yaoi steps things up a bit higher - it involves gay sex and varies from lite kissing to OMG IS THAT PHYSICALLY POSSIBLE???? We do try to give an idea of the "strength" of the content in a given manga. Oddly enough, these manga are written and illustrated mostly by women, for women. Go figure.
